Tinnitus For each patient, it is necessary to experiment with the frequency in order to find the most effective and therapeutic setting. It is best to begin with 10 Hz. In the event that the patient notices no reduction of ear summing, the frequency should be increased. For tinnitus patients suffering from tension in the neck and shoulder regions, connect the tinnitus electrode on outlet 1 and a TENS electrode pair on outlet 2. Place the TENS electrodes either on the neck muscles, or shoulder muscles. Both therapies can be carried out simultaneously. The electrodes must not come in contact with the ear drum. The negative electrode will be put behind the ear. So long the tension of neck - and schoulder muscle are not removed the tinnitus ( ear summing ) will not be reduced. Average length of treatment: three times daily for circa 3-6 monthsAverage length of treatment: three times daily for circa 3-6 months.
